We grow in the fields and in hoop house tunnels

We use consistent size bed rows for easier maintenance.

  • Uniform 30" Bed Size

By using a uniform bed size (30” x 100’) we are able to consistently maintain and document activity on each bed.

Activities include: Planting date, organic fertilizer applications, organic pest control, weeding and watering.

Also, each bed has 4 drip lines providing approximately 80 gallons of water per hour.

  • More about Organic Documenting

Not only is it important to only used approved organic inputs (fertilizer, lime, pest control…) but documenting every step from planting to bed reuse is a major part of USDA’s National Organic Program.

  • Hoop House (Cold Frame Tunnels)

Hoop houses allows for vertical growing. With vertical growing we can grow tomato and cucumber vines for several months.

The practice is sometimes referred to as lower and lean method. This means the top 6 feet is hung on a vertical rod while the vine can be 10 to 20 feet long laying on support off the floor.
