When trying to deal with Ga Power to run a 700 feet underground electrical service becomes too much of a pain, it is time to go off-the-grid!

May 2020 - Let's build a post and beam foundation!

It is just no fun unless you build something different.

June 2020 - Along with a post and beam, let's prefab the flooring.

We can always use old Blue with a boom arm and bring the sections across the highway a half mile.

June 2020 - Filling the flooring void with foam board.

With foam board between flooring, it makes for a well insulated structure to hold water well tank and solar equipment.

June 2020 - Top decking finishing the floor.

June 2020 - Let's protect the floor deck with a couple of coats of paint.

July 2020 - Roof rafters are all in place, ready for roof decking.

January 2022 - The solar equipment arrives.

January 2022 - Let's get some solar panels mounted.

Every nut, bolt and rail is ready to go.

January 2022 - A long day of mounting panels.

Long before the panels were installed, the electrical panels were in place inside. From the main panel a subpanel will be ran to the bunk house.
